Located at 470 N. La Cienega Blvd in West Hollywood, Norms has been a Southern California staple since 1949, when founder Norm Roybark opened one of the region’s first 24/7 diners. The La Cienega location, opened in 1957, is the longest-operating and most iconic. Designed by Eldon Davis of Armet Davis Newlove during the height of the Googie architecture craze, it features dramatic upswept roofs, bold neon, and futuristic flair, earning its place as a designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.
