| Additional Information: | Original “Drafted Men” W. S.S. 5 Dollars vintage poster. World War 1. Linen backed and restored. This is a rare poster and doesn’t appear in the Library of Congress. The wording is all shown below. In one image, a man is at a home selling War Saving Stamps to a lady and her daughter. Next is an image of a ship yard building new ships. The lower right is men with a cannon. (early on, these canons were pulled by horses until the introduction of the earliest tanks). This poster needed more tender care to save it when it was linen backed. It presents very well but did have touch-up areas throughout the poster. The linen backing is releasing from the backing in a few areas but would lie flat if framed. We have not found reference to this poster anywhere. Drafted Men LOCAL BOARD - 147 W.S.S.
