Additional Information: Original Russian European Weight Lifting Championship held in Leningrad in 1968. This poster is archival linen backed and in very good condition. The original fold marks have been restored during linen backing. The event was June 19th – 25th, 1968. The image of a big hand holding one side of a set of giant weights for the bench press. Each color in the fingers and thumbs are a different color pattern. It could appear as a solidarity fist being raised into the air. This original weight lifting poster was printed in Moscow in 1968 in an edition size of 1000. This may be one of the few remaining copies that made it out of the USSR; and this is the only document copy that we have been able to document.
