| Additional Information: | Original 1972 "Switzerland" Bicycle Poster – Vintage Psychedelic Pop Art Screen Print. Archival linen-backed in excellent condition, ready to frame. Very seldom available. . Vibrant, neon-colored collision of classic Swiss scenery and 1970s cycling culture. Capture the electric energy of the early 70s with this striking original vintage poster. Produced in 1972 by the American Screen Printing Co., this piece moves away from traditional travel advertising and embraces the bold, high-contrast aesthetic of the Pop Art and Psychedelic era. The design presents a striking contrast: a classic sketch-style illustration of a cyclist gripping drop handlebars, set against a backdrop of a traditional Swiss alpine village and church steeple. These elements are overlaid with explosive blocks of "hot magenta" and "tangerine orange," creating a visual vibration that screams 1970s cool. The stylized "SWITZERLAND" typography at the top features the melting, curved lettering iconic to that era. This is more than a travel poster; it's a piece of graphic design history. It’s ideal for the passionate cyclist, vintage poster collector, or anyone wanting to add a splash of retro color to a modern living space. It’s rare to find travel posters from this particular year that move away from the typical "scenic photograph" style and instead offer something more artistic and edgy. The sketchy, raw lines of the cyclist’s hair and hands contrast effectively with the bold, flat areas of neon color. It captures the speed and intensity of cycling through the Swiss Alps without needing to be realistic. This is an original vintage lithograph poster and not a reproduction. The poster is professionally acid-free, conservation-mounted, linen-backed, and in excellent condition. Each poster comes with a . We use sturdy, appropriate packaging to ensure it arrives safely.
