| Additional Description: | This poster is the original "X" rating version. The film was originally released with an X rating, however, the MPAA later broadened the requirements for an "R" rating and the film was later rated "R" for a reissue in 1971 with no edits made. The film won three Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. To date, it is the only X-rated film ever to win Best Picture.
