Printed in England by Fosh and Cross Ltd London. British War poster number: 51-2400 British soldiers carrying bayonets descend from a hillside to the village and port. Explosions and smoke light up the night. Smoke and fire in the distance billowing into the sky. Note that the borders of the poster have a slight light yellow + light brown tone and not the cream tone of USA posters. The military poster was folded and the fold marks were touched up during linen backing. WWII military posters were folded so that they could be mailed, and this is NOT considered a defect.
