| Additional Information: | Archival linen backed original travel poster to the Pacific Northwest United Air Lines. Charming United Airlines poster by the prolific and imaginative Galli. A conditon on linen. Stan Galli was one of United's more prolific artists, responsible for several series of images that are among the carrier's best known and most collectible. His realistic style was better suited for western destinations such as California, Las Vegas, and Hawaii, where the subject matter itself was able to inject a sense of romanticism that Galli himself often neglected. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Society of Illustrators in 1975. Fine condition. |
