Beautiful red background that can only be accomplished in the manner of the antique French posters such as this one. Size: 47" x 63". Archival linen backed and in excellent to mint condition. Printer: Affiches Elita. With the publishers information in the cream boarder on the left hand bottom. The other artist that made AXA famous vintage poster was also Leonetto Cappiello. The chef with the copper pot on side and the maid who is cooking eggs on the other side hold up a large cube of AXA margarine. The are both suspended in the air on the large A X A yellow and green lettering. Today this is a rare poster and very difficult to obtain a excellent condition original that you would be proud to display in your home. This AXA - Margarine is an Original Lithograph Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
