Bob Peak (1927 – 1992)
Illustrator Bob Peak began his career in advertising, and he became one of the most sought after poster artists between the ‘60s-’80s. In 1961 he was hired by United Artists to design the poster art for West Side Story. After that, he went on to design over a hundred movie posters, primarily for musicals and science fiction films, including My Fair Lady, Camelot, Star Trek, Superman, Excalibur and Apocalypse Now.
