After an unanticipated hiatus, Jim Evans the founder of the T.A.Z. collaboration which created hundreds of rock gig posters, record sleeves, and rock ephemera, jumped at the chance when invited by Pearl Jam to design a poster for their Berlin, Germany concert on June 26, 2014. Jim had a long relationship with the band having done many posters for Pearl Jam over the course of their career. Jim considers his work on the Pearl Jam poster to be one of the best gig posters (the poster even features a free form piece of art printed on the back).
Jim and TAZ were back, next creating two posters for old friends the Foo Fighters (Edmonton, Canada gig at the Rexall Place on August 12, 2015 and the hard to find August 29th Wrigley Field show with Cheap Trick, Naked Raygun and Urge Overkill).

Next working for the first time with Queens Of The Stone Age with a last minute poster for a surprise show on September 10, 2015 at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles to the recently released Blink-182 poster for the band’s show at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, Texas in support of their first album in many years.
TAZ posters are always fantastic and imaginative. Pushing the boundaries of where you can take poster art with ground breaking printing techniques coupled with eye-opening imagery. We don’t know what’s next for TAZ but one thing we feel privileged to be working with Jim and the T.A.Z. collaboration and know for sure the next thing we see from them won’t be boring.
