Start West, 2014 by Ina Jungmann
In 2014 Jungmann traveled by car across the western United States between New Mexico and California when she came across a mountain range known as “Sleeping Indian,” named so because the shape of the mountain it looks like a native American sleeping on his back covered in a blanket. Awestruck by this sight and the foreign landscape of the American west, Jungmann began photographing the scenery from U.S. national parks, such as Saguaro National Park and White Sands National Monument all the way to the beaches in Santa Monica, California. The result is this tremendous collection
