Fantasy artist Boris Vallejo is best known for his illustrations of Tarzan, Conan the Barbarian, Doc Savage and many other fantasy characters. His works are known and loved around the world. Boris is famous for his illustrations of Tarzan, Conan the Barbarian, Doc Savage and many other fantasy characters. Vallejo immigrated to the United States in 1964 from his homeland of Peru at the age of 23, where he quickly garnered a fan following from his illustrations. Vallejo has been hired to create several movie posters as well advertisement and other commercial work including collectible items for the Franklin Mint and trading cards.
