This photo is part of the Metronome Magazine Jazz Archives. Metronome Magazine published its first issue in 1881 and quickly became the premiere music magazine of its time. At the start of the Swing era Metronome shifted its editorial coverage to primarily Jazz music, and continued to cover the genre until it published its final issue in the early 1960’s.

Photo appeared in Metronome Magazine in the August, 1944 issue on page 18, in the article entitled, “Fly Right” which is exactly what the King Cole Trio does all the time in jazz time.

All sizes listed are paper sizes, photographs have a border. Editioned prints are numbered in the border and stamped on the verso. Printed on Archival Fiber Gloss paper. All framed orders come with a white frame (unless a black frame is requested) and white mat and require an extra two weeks for delivery.
