"I am looking forward to dictating peace to the United States in the White House at Washington - Admiral Yamamoto" Issued by the graphics division, United States Office of War Information, Washington, D.C. OWI -- P-2 * U.S Government printing office : 1942 -- O - 472170. Linen backed, fine condition. Ready to frame. IN this series it shows the Japanese Admiral Yamamoto bragging about his ultimately defeating the United States. The other posters in this series feature this one of Italy's Mussolini and of Hitler of Germany. Hitler aligned himself with Italy's Fascist leader, Benito Mussolini, and later Emperor Hirohito of Japan to form a triad that became known as the Axis Powers. Together their forces occupied much of Europe and the Pacific before being brought down by the Allied nations. This is an Original Lithograph Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is professional acid-free conservation mounted, linen backed, and in very good condition. (please note that standard excellent condition allows for very minor handling wear at edges).
