Fine condition, archival linen backed. Ready to frame. A more rare find in this very good condition for a poster over 100 years old. (Watermark does not appear on the artwork.) The nickname of the Teufel Hunden was given to the U. S. Marines by the Germans. It translates to the 'devil dogs' because of the ferrous fighting. Want to be a devil dog; just report to you U. S. Marines recruiting station. The image that shows a bulldog chancing a dashhound makes this a favorite military for our local military Marine base.
