Archival linen backed in good condition, ready to frame. Underwood's artwork features a U. S. Marine resting on a stone wall holding his rifle as he gazes out. In the background you can see a ship that will carry him to a new location thus making him a Sea Soldier. We presume this soldier is holding a Sprinfield '03 rifle which one of the most used weapons during WW1 and standard issue for the Marine Corps. Over 100 years old.
