This Device on Hat or Helmet Means U.S. Marines, the circa 1917 U.S World War I (WWI) poster featuring Charles Buckles Falls artwork of the Eagle, Globe and Anchor (EGA) emblem of the U.S. Marine Corps. Note that this poster has two versions; one shows the emblem, and one features headshots of two marines above the emblem. Charles Buck Falls was an illustrious American artist, illustrator, and designer. He worked for several plays designing sets and costumes, was employed by lithographic companies as an etcher and master printer, and freelanced as a newspaper and poster illustrator.
