|Additional Information:||Original. Linen backed. Lithograph. Printed in Germany. The Heidelberg Castle, as well as the river and town, framed through a view of poplar trees. Expansive skyline. The artist Jupp Wergtz was born in 1888 in Aachen. He studied in Berlin and learned lithography in Leipzig. In 1914 he worked as a fine art printer and in the 20's and 30's Wiertz became a reknown poster artist. Wiertz worked on publicity for the German Reichsbahn and the Zeppelin production art designs and for Lufthansa. This is an Original Lithograph Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is professional acid-free conservation mounted, linen backed, and in very good condition.|
