This poster is attributed to the artist "Ike" This fun French style poster's image would be fitting if listed under our kitchen or food categories. The image of a French man wearing a beret is feasting on roasted chicken and drink a glass of red wine at his red checkered table. The dark aqua toned background would make you feel at home in the Caribbean island's water. A perfect size and design for your kitchen. And for those collectors who love to eat and drink wine; this vintage poster will make you feel at home. The Powelson Line began operating in February 1939 as Caribbean Atlantic Airlines and later as Caribair on July 20, 1948. The Caribair service was popular both with local residents and tourists alike traveling between Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands. By 1950, the airline's name had officially changed to Caribair and services to the Dominican Republic were initiated. This is an Original Lithograph Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction.
