Historically the name Marcheta is associated with a beautiful love song of old Mexico. The song tells the story of a man’s heart ache for his lover, Marcheta. This poster set on a soft yellow cream background shows the image of a young Mexican lady in a crimson bandana and gold hoop earrings. She smiles out at the viewer; her head tiled back knowing the power of her beauty and seduction. Beneath this image her name is written; Marcheta. The song of Marcheta was created in 1913 by musician, composer, and director Victor Schertzinger. Marcheta Marcheta, Marcheta, I still hear you callin' me back, To your arms once again.
