Additional Information: Original color lithographic poster, This rare, early poster features the Hackerbrau brewery with its many buildings and billowing smoke stacks. The industrial revolution saw the rise of the large factory filled with many workers, and the buildings themselves became a compelling symbol of modernization and success. Hackerbrau, now Hacker-Pschorr, was founded in 1417 and continues to thrive. It is one of six breweries located with the Munich city limits and, as such, you can sip their special brew each year during Oktoberfest.
