\nThis colorful one sheet is from the 1953 re-release of the film and features great artwork of Cary Grant and Joan Fontaine.<\/p>\n

Rope<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (Warner Brothers – 1948)
\n<\/strong><\/em><\/span>An ambitious film by Hitchcock, his first Technicolor film which was shot so as to appear as a single continuous shot through the use of long takes. Because film stock only ran about 10 minutes per reel Hitchcock had to use cut away shots to make it appear as if it was one take\u00a0by ending a segment \u00a0by panning into an object such as\u00a0a man’s jacket blocking the entire screen, or the back of a piece of furniture, masking the cuts. \u00a0This French Grande features the colorful artwork\u00a0Boris Grinsson which is probably the best image for this title.<\/span><\/p>\n

Frenzy<\/a>\u00a0(Universal Pictures – 1972)<\/strong><\/em>
\nThis is a colorful Japanese poster for Alfred Hitchcock’s 1972 British crime thriller, often considered to be Hitchcock’s last great film. \u00a0Hitchcock only directed one more film, Family Plot in 1976.<\/p>\n
