Included are three never before seen photographs of Marilyn Monroe by photographers Milton H. Greene, Allan “Whitey” Snyder and Thomas \u201cDoc\u201d Kaminski<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In honor of Marilyn Monroe’s passing, Limited Runs has partnered with The Hollywood Museum<\/a><\/strong>, and other \"\"<\/a>international collectors to showcase an unprecedented exhibit. \u201cIt seems fitting to have this exhibit in the same building where the platinum blonde image of Marilyn Monroe was created by makeup and hair genius – Max Factor,<\/em>\u201d remarks the Founder and President of The<\/em> Hollywood Museum, Donelle Dadigan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The exhibit features unique and never before seen photographs from the Limited Runs Collection, curated by founder and Limited Runs’ president, Pierre Vudrag.\u00a0 Included are three never before seen photographs by Milton H. Greene<\/strong><\/a>, Allan “Whitey” Snyder<\/strong><\/a> and Thomas \u201cDoc\u201d Kaminski<\/strong><\/a>. On display are images from, Niagara<\/em> <\/strong><\/a>(1952), River of No Return<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (1953), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (1953), Bus Stop<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (1956), The Misfits<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (1960), and more.\u00a0 \u201cThis exhibit will give fans a greater insight into the Hollywood icon by showing the real person behind the legend,\u201d adds Vudrag.<\/p>\n

Additional exhibit highlights include Marilyn’s film costumes from The Prince and the Showgirl<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (1957) and Let’s Make Love<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (1960), public appearance gowns including Marilyn’s honeymoon dress (with husband Joe DiMaggio and USO shows in Korea -1954), personal clothing, jewelry, make-up and Marilyn’s make-up chair, contents from her bathroom medicine cabinet, memorabilia and much more.<\/p>\n

\nOn Sunday, April 15, 1956, with a day off during filming of Bus Stop,
\nMarilyn and Milton H. Greene held a photo shoot on the 20th Century-Fox back lot,
\nofficially known as the \u201cGrey Fur\u201d sittings<\/address>\n

Marilyn: Hollywood Icon<\/em><\/strong> exhibit runs through October 2nd<\/sup>, Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00am – 5:00pm, at The Hollywood Museum located in the historic Max Factor building, 1660 N. Highland Avenue, Hollywood, CA 90028.<\/p>\n
