With the recent passing of Elvis Presley’s guitarist Scotty Moore<\/strong><\/a>, who died at the age of 84 in his home in Nashville\u00a0on June 28, 2016, we are reminded of the groundbreaking music that Moore helped to create with Elvis Presley. Moore played with Presley throughout the 1950’s and then continued to play with Elvis on-and-off through 1968, culminating with the great 68′ comeback special on NBC.<\/p>\n

With estimated records sales reaching over a billion (yes billion with a \u201cB\u201d), Elvis is undeniably the most successful recording artist in the history of recorded music and there is no stopping this train as RCA records continues to release more material each year. Elvis also had a very successful movie career, starring in 33 films. Making 27 films from the period of 1960 through 1969, Elvis was one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood, earning at one point a million dollars a film in the 1960’s. Elvis\u2019 film posters often command a high price point, especially with the films made in the 50\u2019s. Here are some of Elvis’ film posters:<\/p>\n

\nThis is a rare British Quad from Elvis\u2019 first film Love Me Tender<\/address>\n
\"\"<\/a>Loving You<\/strong><\/a> (Paramount, 1957) Insert
\nPresley’s 2nd film which features a Rockin’ finally<\/address>\n
\"\"<\/a>Jailhouse Rock<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(MGM, 1957) One Sheet<\/span><\/address>\n
Jailhouse Rock was probably Elvis’ most defining role as an ex-con that becomes a successful rock star. \u00a0The film included a dance sequence for the title song that that Elvis choreographed himself. The sequence is alluded to in this original vintage theatrical one sheet is from the initial release of the film in 1957.<\/span><\/address>\n

\u00a0King Creole<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(Paramount, 1958) One Sheet<\/address>\n

King Creole was Elvis’ 4th film and last before entering the army in 1958. Directed by famed director Michael Curtiz, this is arguably Elvis’ greatest film role. This original vintage theatrical one sheet is from the initial release of the film.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Viva Las Vegas<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(MGM, 1964)\u00a0Japanese B2<\/address>\n

Known and loved around the world including in Japan where this original vintage Japanese B2 from Elvis’ Viva Las Vegas! which also features the sexy Ann Margret.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Elvis On Tour<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(MGM, 1972) Japanese Program<\/address>\n
\u00a0Elvis toured constantly in the late 60’s through his untimely death in 1977. Two theatrical releases captured his energetic concerts. This rare original vintage Japanese Program is from one of these, 1972\u2019s \u201cElvis On Tour\u201d

\"\"<\/a>Follow That Dream<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(United Artists, 1962) Three Sheet<\/address>\n
Elvis’ hair color in the 1962 American musical “Follow That Dream”, is his natural color. It is the only movie, (outside of Love Me Tender) where we get to see him without his hair dyed black.<\/span><\/address>\n
