With the latest installment in the Star Wars franchise, Episode VII – The Force Awakens, gearing up to hit theaters on December 18, 2015, Disney and Lucasfilm are still secretive about the plot of the J.J. Abrams directed film, to tese eager fans the studio released several character posters including the Hans Solo (which of course is being reprised by Harrison Ford) and the villain, Kylo Ren.<\/p>\n

While we wet our appetites with the character posters we are excited about seeing all of the film\u2019s promotional posters for this the long-awaited sequel. In the meantime let\u2019s get equally excited as we look back at some of the greatest poster art from the entire Star Wars series, starting with the 1977 advance poster released for the original right through the 6th film in the series, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.<\/p>\n
