\n<\/strong>(Paramount Pictures 1942) One Sheet
\n<\/strong>One of the early and most iconic film noir, \u201cThis Gun For Hire\u201d helped launched the careers of both Veronica Lake and Alan Ladd. The pair appeared together in several other films. Paper for this film is highly sought after and this one sheet is the golden prize. This rarely comes up for sale and when it does it usually sells fairly quickly.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nThe Adventures of Robin Hood<\/a> (Warner Brothers 1938) One Sheet
\n<\/em><\/strong>Warner Brothers\u2019 Technicolor master piece features an all-star cast that includes Errol Flynn as Robin Hood, Olivia de Havilland as Maid Marian, Basil Rathbone as Sir Guy of Gisbourne, and Claude Rains as Prince John. Posters from this film are highly desirable and hard to find and this one sheet with a colorful image of Flynn and de Havilland are exquisite. This poster eludes many collectors and it\u2019s availability on Limited Runs could bring the end to a long search for the right collector.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lady from Shanghai
\n<\/a><\/strong>(Columbia Pictures 1947) One Sheet<\/strong><\/p>\n

This film noir was the brain child of producer, writer, director, and star Orson Welles, but the film is taken over by the alluring Rita Hayworth (Welles wife at the time) who seductively captives the viewer with a tight black dress in this highly desirable one sheet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nDouble Indemnity<\/a><\/strong>
\n (Paramount Pictures 1944) Australian One Sheet<\/strong><\/p>\n

Directed by Billy Wilder and starring Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck and Edward G. Robinson and nominated for seven Academy Awards, Double Indemnity is widely regarded as the model and set the standard for all film noirs that followed.\u00a0 This is the Australian One Sheet depicts MacMurray embracing Stanwyck while holding a hand gun.\u00a0 A must own for the collector.<\/p>\n
