Roger Kastel (1931 - )
Roger Kastel’s career began while in high school when he attended the Arts Students League in Manhattan. He went on to serve in the Navy during the Korean war and, when he returned home, became a freelance illustrator.  Kastel is best known for his illustration for Peter Benchley's Jaws book. Universal Studios loved the artwork and licensed the right to use his art as the poster for the movie. The poster is one of the most collectible and iconic movie posters of all-time. Kastel also created the poster art for Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, his ‘Gone With the Wind’ inspired image for this poster is considered one of the most influential movie posters ever produced.
